Bead experts in the US consider them as being made by beadmaker Luigi Cattelan, Venice, Italy.
The beads are besheveled and have a shimmering intense green outer layer.
Three red chevron beads made by Rick Rice. The beads are fairly new, about 10 years old, but made from early 1900s Venetian chevron cane. Special custom grind - very rare. The three chevron beads are strung with large round ivory beads, coral (dyed) and Bali vermeil. The shape of the beads makes it difficult to put flat on a scanner but they fall very nicely around the neck. Goldplated silver crab clasp. Length of necklace 43 cm, focal chevron bicone shaped bead 55 mm long and 15 mm at widest point, drop shaped chevrons 46 mm long. One bead has a tiny nick at the tip which you can barely see.
